You are classified as a transfer student if you have attended an accredited college or university and have attempted more than 6 semester hours, excluding remedial (pre-college) work or credit hours accumulated as a concurrently enrolled high school student. Admission for transfer students is highly competitive. NYU’s evaluation will focus primarily on your college/university grades and your high school/secondary school performance. Our most competitive applicants have completed at least 32 credits/points of coursework by the time they enroll at NYU. Transfer Application Deadlines Spring semester Priority deadlines: Colleges with priority deadlines will give full consideration to all applications received and complete by that date.

You are an international transfer if > Minimum Requirements To be considered for transfer admission to Texas A&M, you must have at least a 2.5 GPA on a minimum of 24 hours of graded, transferable coursework. Required Documents REQUIRED documents must be received (not postmarked) by the deadline (see When to Apply below). Transfer students are those who have graduated from high school or earned a GED and have previously attended a regionally accredited college or university, but have not yet completed a bachelor’s degree. Depending on the university (and how much your tutors want to help you!) you could get transferred to a new course at the same university up to 3 months of starting the course. It has also been possible for students to switch courses after one year of study, by abandoning their current course and starting a new course entirely.
